Serbian Private Tours is the first and only specialized tour company for private tours in Serbia. Our tours are designed to give international guests an authentic picture of Serbia—its people, history, culture, natural beauty, and gastronomy. We provide a host-like experience and journeys with a local friend. Guests may include individuals, families, groups of friends, or companies seeking authentic private tour experiences for their employees.

What We’re Looking For:

An engaging, communicative, and balanced guide/driver to accompany our guests, primarily on day trips around Serbia but also on multi-day tours if needed.

A freelance associate available to work year-round, especially from April to October.

A guide with driving experience, capable of being a safe and confident driver, as well as an interesting and pleasant guide.

Fluent English speaker, as most of our guests are native speakers.

Someone based in Belgrade who knows the city’s traffic well, as all tours start and end here.

Responsibilities:

• Independently and responsibly guiding private tours.
• Safely and comfortably driving guests.
• Providing guests with engaging and knowledgeable storytelling, along with a local experience.
• Taking attractive photos with guests.
• Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle before and after each tour.
• Quickly responding to inquiries/assigned tours.
• Providing a brief “follow-up” with guests after the tour.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Active B-category driver who enjoys driving and traveling.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Residence in Belgrade.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Broad general knowledge and education.
• Possession of a tour guide license or currently undergoing certification.
• Basic knowledge of photography with a mobile phone or camera.
• High level of sociability.

Additional Assets (Not Mandatory):

• Proficiency in Russian or Spanish for tour guiding.
• Ownership of a mid-range, newer vehicle for additional engagement.
• Affinity for social media and creating online content.

Availability to perform the internship at the agency office five days a week, four hours per day.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assisting with booking management.
• Assisting with maintaining prescribed records.
• Assisting with responding to inquiries.
• Assisting with partner relations.
• Assisting with managing accounting documentation.
• Assisting with content administration on the agency’s website and reservation systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of a college/university program or current final-year student in tourism.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheet, Dropbox.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Good communication skills and basic understanding of business etiquette.

Preferred but Not Required:

• Knowledge of an additional foreign language at a conversational level.
• Interest in social media and creating online content.
• Understanding of terminology like SEO, AI, digital marketing, and similar.
